It is our priority to have a strong commitment to both the horse and the horse's human.  At Hoof Steps, your horse is our greatest priority.  We care, have compassion, concern, consideration, and are consistent with our care and treatment.  If you have a senior horse who comes out of her stall stiff and needs a few moments to get loosened up, we take the time to let her pick the pace, stop and stretch if she needs to.  This is not a goal oriented farm, in the sense of getting a job done, such as turnout.  If your horse requires us to take a bit longer, to get her out at the pace she needs in order to be comfortable, we will give her that consideration.  I think you would want the same kindness offered to you.  We are not a farm whose biggest excuse for intentional or unintentional mistreatment of horses is, "we don't have time for that".  In my opinion, you are now too big of a farm and the job outweighs the love of the animals. We have made your horse's care our priority, we have time for that!
